About My Clients
I work with adults, teens, children, and couples navigating trauma, anxiety, life transitions, and the search for deeper self-understanding. Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsettled — from their bodies, their relationships, or their sense of self. My Background and Approach
I'm Elizabeth, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and founder of SF Psychotherapy & Wellness Collective in San Francisco. I work with adults, teens, children, and couples navigating trauma, anxiety, life transitions, and the search for deeper self-understanding. I take an embodied, holistic approach, drawing from EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and somatic therapy to help clients process what talk therapy alone can't reach. I'm drawn to the deeper work — not just managing symptoms, but getting to the root of your experiences. Through parts work, we get to know the different aspects of who you are with curiosity and compassion, gently making space for healing from within. I believe healing isn't just about understanding our stories — it's about building a relationship with our bodies and learning to trust ourselves again. My practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming and culturally inclusive. Everyone deserves a space where they feel seen, safe, and welcome.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe deeply that everyone has their own unique path to finding balance and healing. Creating spaces where people feel truly seen and welcomed isn't just part of my clinical work — it's a core value I carry into every aspect of my life. Community and inclusivity matter to me, both in and out of the therapy room. I believe that healing doesn't happen in isolation, and that we all do better when we feel a genuine sense of belonging. It's why I've built a practice rooted in cultural humility, LGBTQIA+ affirming care, and the belief that quality mental health support should reflect the diverse communities we serve. Outside of the therapy room, I'm a parent, a dog lover, and someone who finds grounding in the same practices I value in my work — moving my body through hiking and yoga, and staying curious through reading. These parts of my life remind me of what I hope to help my clients find: presence, connection, and joy in the everyday.
