About My Clients
I work with clients who are overcoming unhealed parts of themselves. This may be from a traumatic event, passing of a loved one, end of a relationship or a childhood experience that has caused distress. Providing unconditional positive regard and empathetic listening I will guide you through the healing process. Together collaborating on goals and finding tools to better manage symptoms.
My Background and Approach
I have over 12 years of experience in the mental health field, starting my work in Anchorage Alaska I have worked in various clinical settings with diverse populations. In my therapeutic approach I use a trauma informed model of care. My theoretical orientation pulls from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. I have treated various conditions such as grief, trauma, PTSD, sexual abuse, substance abuse, bipolar disorder, depression, personality disorders and anxiety.
