About My Clients
I provide therapy to adults who want to find healing from painful life experiences. Oftentimes, anxiety and depression are a manifestation of unhealed wounds. I enjoy working with clients who are ready to uncover the roots of their emotional distress and make changes necessary to move towards healing and growth. My work may include inner child work to help you identify current manifestations of past hurts and pave a path to restoration. Upon request I can include biblical principles in therapy.
My Background and Approach
I'm a licensed clinical social worker with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. I offer virtual therapy services via a secure telehealth platform to residents of Florida, North Carolina, Texas, Connecticut, and Tennessee. I have experience treating depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship conflict, life transitions, and stress. I have previously worked with teens and adults at an outpatient clinic, with veterans at the VA, and with Active-Duty military members at Camp Lejeune. I specialize in trauma resolution and post-traumatic growth. One of my biggest priorities is to lay out a foundation of safety and trust for you to feel comfortable and relaxed in your sessions. I take on a client-centered approach to meet the individual needs of my clients. We will work together to develop treatment goals that align to the change and healing you want to see in your life. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I strongly believe nobody should live their life sitting in shame, guilt, sadness, or suffering. There is power in being able to process your story and rewrite the narrative of what your life can be. I truly desire for my clients to find inner peace and happiness, all while growing in wisdom. I believe in the power of tending to your physical, mental, and spiritual health. Neglecting one area may create disbalance in your life, so I enjoy helping my clients explore every aspect of their life that needs tuning. Outside of the therapy room, I'm a wife to a Marine Corps veteran, a mom of two girls, a church going Christian, and a lover of people. I value kindness, no matter what your story is. And I'm a huge advocate of ending mental health stigma for Latinx, BIPOC, and faith-based communities. I accept insurance, out-of-network, and self-pay.
