About My Clients
My clients include individuals across all stages of life—from young children to adults—who are seeking practical support for anxiety, stress, and life transitions. I support kids and youth facing emotional or behavioral challenges, as well as adults feeling worn down by daily demands, life events, or family stress. Together, we focus on understanding the root of what’s feeling heavy, developing healthy coping tools, and helping regain balance and clarity.
My Background and Approach
My background includes working in medical settings, schools, child welfare, and community-based organizations. Across these settings, I have provided clinical care and advocacy for children, adolescents, adults, and families navigating complex life circumstances. I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and bring a trauma-informed, compassionate perspective to my work. My approach is grounded, collaborative, and tailored to meet you or your child right where you are. I recognize that healing and growth look different for everyone, which is why I combine practical, evidence-based tools with a warm, non-judgmental environment. Through convenient online therapy, we’ll work together at your pace to process past experiences, ease anxiety, build practical coping skills, and restore a sense of safety and balance in yo
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that people hold an incredible capacity to heal and thrive when given safety, dignity, and the right tools. My background in military service and social work taught me the value of meeting people exactly where they are, without judgment. I view mental health through a trauma-informed lens, recognizing how systemic stress, life events, and family dynamics shape our daily lives. Beyond clinical care, my values are deeply rooted in community service, equity, and advocating for vulnerable youth and families. I stand firmly for inclusive, accessible mental health support and honor all family structures, backgrounds, and identities. On a personal level, I stay grounded through simple, daily routines—morning walks in nature with my dog, staying active, cooking home meals, and spending time with my family. I bring that same steady, down-to-earth energy into my clinical work.
