About My Clients
I specialize in working with individuals, couples and families to increase positive self narratives, family empowerment and give couples and families a sense of unity. I provide support for couples that are experiencing infidelity, relationship stress, and infertility. I offer support for families struggling with conflict, relationship tension, and co-parenting issues. I also work with children to support them and their parents in various concerns from ADHD, to anxiety and emotion regulation.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Master's Degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon. In addition, I am fully trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy and have training in Socio-Emotional Relationship Therapy and I am fully trained in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Please know I am no longer taking on new clients at this time. Thank you for your understanding! My belief is that therapy is a collaborative process that includes integration of culture, values, and morals for individuals, couples and families. I believe that therapy is a journey where we utilize story-telling to explore different patterns of anxiety, distress, and grief/loss to create a narrative that feels comfortable and aligns with your goals as a couple or family. I am an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist and strive to support all communities.
