About My Clients
I welcome clients of all genders, identities, faith backgrounds, and orientations with affirmation and confidentiality, and without judgment. I serve clients ages 14 and up. Recently, I had a day where I saw a college student, and a senior citizen, and I thought of that as my perfect professional day in which I was able to enjoy the diversity of our community within my day.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in North Carolina, graduating from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Master in Social Work in 2009. I truly enjoyed my course of study and the friends and colleagues I made in that program. While in graduate school, I completed internships in the areas of Traumatic Brain Injury (and caregiver support), and Eating Disorders.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am an affirmative therapist who will meet you where you are emotionally. I am a strengths-based therapist, which means that I believe that together we can find the solutions to your concerns by utilizing your own individual strengths and talents. My clients find me to be warm, attentive, and affirming.
