About My Clients
My clients include teens and young adults facing trauma, anxiety, depression, or self-harming behaviors, as well as couples struggling to reconnect after painful experiences. Many are overwhelmed by pressure, emotional wounds, or relationship conflict and are ready to break free from patterns that keep them stuck. They seek a therapist who offers trauma-informed care, EMDR, and a supportive space to heal, grow, and thrive—individually or together.
My Background and Approach
I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults who feel stuck in cycles of anxiety, depression, or self-destructive behavior—often rooted in unresolved trauma. My approach is brain-based and compassionate, incorporating EMDR therapy to help clients safely process their past without becoming overwhelmed. I emphasize helping clients understand how trauma affects the brain and body, empowering them with tools to self-regulate, reduce shame, and build emotional resilience. In every session, I aim to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where healing feels possible. I see therapy as a partnership and feel honored to guide my clients as they learn to better understand themselves, manage distress, and move forward with confidence.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that understanding the brain’s response to trauma is key to healing. When we know how trauma lives in the body, we can begin to respond to our pain with compassion instead of shame. I believe healing should never retraumatize—it should empower. Through EMDR and other trauma-informed practices, we can gently process difficult memories and reconnect with our strengths. I’ve experienced firsthand the power of healing work, and I bring that lived experience into every session. I see each client as capable, resilient, and worthy of transformation. My role is to walk beside them as they build insight, develop new tools, and uncover the strength they already carry within.
