I work with adult individuals of all ages and have experience helping with all manner of challenges including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, or any of the many other difficulties of being a human being in this world.
My Background and Approach
I mostly use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion Based Therapy, Mindfulness, and Emotion Focused Therapy/attachment theory. These approaches can help you more effectively understand and handle difficult thoughts, feelings, situations, and relationships. This will free you to make meaningful changes to your life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that we have an immense amount of good in use and there is an innate sense of what is good, what is healthy, and what we need. You don't teach an acorn to become an oak tree, it just has it inside. That sense can be drowned out though, so we need to explore what is really going on inside and get back in touch with that part of us.
