About My Clients

My clients are adults who are ready to make meaningful changes but aren't quite sure where to start. They may be managing anxiety, ADHD, or chronic stress, navigating a major life transition, or working through challenges with self-worth and interpersonal boundaries. Many feel overwhelmed or stuck. What they share is a desire to feel more like themselves. If you are looking for warmth and practical tools, you are in the right place.

My Background and Approach

I hold an MS in Marriage and Family Therapy and a PhD in International Psychology, with active licenses in Massachusetts, Maine, Utah, and Florida. My approach is integrative and collaborative, drawing from evidence-based methods like CBT while remaining deeply attuned to each client's identity and lived experience. I balance empathy with action, helping clients build insight, develop new coping strategies, and grow their confidence in navigating life's challenges. A core focus of my work is increasing self-compassion, strengthening self-esteem, and helping clients build meaningful self-care practices into their daily lives. I also integrate Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to help clients identify strengths, shift unhelpful patterns, and set clear, achievable goals early in treatment.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that every person deserves access to compassionate, high-quality mental health care. My work is rooted in the conviction that healing is possible at any stage of life, and that the therapeutic relationship itself is one of the most powerful tools for change. I approach each client as a whole person, honoring the unique combination of experiences, identity, and values they bring into the room. I am committed to creating a space that feels safe, affirming, and free of judgment. I also believe strongly in the mind-body connection and the role that self-care, boundaries, and self-compassion play in long-term wellbeing. Outside of my clinical work, I am passionate about reducing the stigma around mental health and making meaningful support more accessible to those who need it.
