Elizabeth has worked with a variety of presenting concerns such as depression, anxiety, grief, anger management, and adjustment. Elizabeth’s top specialties include child/adolescents, self-esteem, anxiety, stress, family stressors, ADHD/ADD, and Neurodiversity.
My Background and Approach
Elizabeth received her Master of Arts in Counseling with an emphasis on Marriage, Family, and Children from Palo Alto University. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Human Biology from the University of California, Merced. She completed her clinical training within the Oak Grove School District. She continues to provide on-site group and individual counseling services to children and adolescents from a wide range of socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds. Elizabeth mainly utilizes a person-centered and dialectical behavior therapy-based approaches but draws from a variety of clinical approaches tailored to fit each client's needs. When working with couples Elizabeth utilizes Gottman and EFT approaches. She has completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
