I’ve had the honor of working with survivors of intimate partner violence & clients who experienced child abuse & neglect. I’ve seen these traumatic experiences shape lives & manifest in complex emotional, psychological, & behavioral symptoms. My work spans from helping survivors navigate immediate effects of trauma to supporting them through long-term healing. I’m committed to providing a safe, empathetic space for clients to process their experiences, & regain a sense of control & empowerment.

As a therapist and woman, I understand the challenges women face with unequal labor in the home, violence, and gender inequity. I work with clients to address imbalances in domestic responsibilities, offer trauma-informed care for those affected by violence, and empower women to navigate societal biases. My approach is intersectional, inclusive, and focuses on reclaiming agency, fostering self-worth, and promoting holistic healing while advocating for broader social change.

As a therapist, navigating PTSD with clients, using EMDR and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) to help them process trauma and find relief from symptoms like flashbacks, anxiety, and depression. My approach is rooted in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can feel heard and supported. I’m all about real, honest healing—no cookie-cutter solutions. I empower clients to take back control, rebuild resilience, and step into their strength.

Although I’m DBT certified, I don’t offer DBT due to the group component being unavailable, my certification makes me well-informed in mindfulness-based therapies. DBT’s core principles, include mindfulness, emotional regulation, & distress tolerance, are central to my practice. I integrate these techniques in therapy to help clients improve emotional resilience, increase present-moment awareness, & build healthier coping strategies. Mindfulness is a powerful tool I use to empower clients.

I completed the required basic training & consultation hours to earn my EMDR certification. Through extensive hands-on experience, I’ve honed my skills in using this powerful trauma therapy. While certification is a significant milestone, I’ve continued to deepen my expertise through ongoing practice, supervision, & client work. My approach to EMDR is informed by both my formal training and real-world application, allowing me to tailor treatment to effectively address my clients' unique needs.

I’ve completed the basic training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and have since deepened my expertise by actively training others in the technique. This experience has allowed me to refine my skills, gain a deeper understanding of ART's principles, and apply it effectively with clients. As both a practitioner and trainer, I’ve developed a strong foundation in ART, enabling me to tailor it to individual needs and support others in mastering this transformative trauma treatment.
