About My Clients
I'm Elizabeth, and over my last 20 years of helping others I've put my warm, gentle and quirky personality into creating a safe place for therapy. I have put my focus on working with depression, trauma, anxiety, BPD and those on the Autism spectrum. I enjoy working with neurodivergent adults and folx in the the LGBTQ+ community.
My Background and Approach
I bring Positive Psychology to my sessions! I incorporate theories such as Strengths Based, Feminism, and Eco Psychology. I am trained in harm reduction, eye-movement-desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and I am a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist. I have a sex-positive approach and am an LGBTQAI+ provider.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Hobbies: In my spare time I enjoy indulging in creating art and being in the artistic community, spending time with my adult children and our cats, and volunteering with Pride and GPS. I am a Reiki Level II practitioner. I am a beekeeper and in the warm months, I raise native butterflies for wild release.
