About My Clients
I work best with adults navigating anxiety, life transitions, and those healing from trauma like sexual abuse, human/sex trafficking, or witnessing violence. Whether you're facing a specific challenge or simply questioning if therapy is right for you, I offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental space to explore and grow—validating your experience and supporting your journey toward healing and resilience.
My Background and Approach
I hold an M.A. in Clinical Social Work from the University of Chicago, dual B.A. in Music and B.S. in Psychology from Loyola. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). As an Abuse Prevention Specialist, I bring both clinical and educational expertise. I have worked as a Clinical Field Consultant at the University of Chicago, and serve as Board Vice President for the Northwest Center Against Sexual Assault. I'm also a member of NASW, IATP, and NASW‑Groups. My approach is trauma‑informed, strengths‑based, and client-centered. I believe therapy should honor your experience—whether you're here for anxiety, transition, or trauma—by offering tailored tools to foster resilience, self-awareness, and lasting growth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a trauma-informed therapist, I believe healing happens in relationship—with ourselves, our bodies, our communities, and the world. I support movements that center human dignity, including LGBTQ+ liberation, racial and disability justice, and reproductive freedom. I believe in every person’s right to safety and belonging, and I hold an unwavering commitment to anti-genocide, anti-oppression, and the preservation of human life across all borders. I celebrate neurodiversity and honor each person's story without pathologizing difference. I’m a bilingual clinician, mother, musician, and lifelong advocate for survivors. Therapy with me is rooted in compassion, justice, and cultural humility.
