About My Clients
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I enjoy working with teens (16+) and adults addressing trauma, divorce, relationship conflict, co-parenting, self-worth/self-esteem, educational difficulties, as well as the complex needs of caregivers. I have a strong passion for working with folks battling addiction and seeking recovery.
My Background and Approach
My approach utilizes strength based motivational interviewing, trauma-informed attachment theory, and cognitive therapy to help clients target patterns in their lives that are no longer serving them, and find healthy replacements. As folks develop new coping skills, they improve the relationships around them. My practice history includes work in inpatient substance abuse and detoxification settings, consultation, dual-diagnosis treatment and School Social Work with young children (Early Childhood Education) and their family systems, specifically with challenging behavior.
