About My Clients

My clients are transgender and non-binary adults and teens who are navigating anxiety, low mood, relationships, and identity-related stress. Many of my clients are thoughtful, introspective, and tired of surface-level therapy or having to explain themselves. I’m especially attuned to working with neurodivergent clients and those seeking deeper self-understanding, more satisfying relationships, and a greater sense of ease living authentically.

My Background and Approach

I have used my Master's Degree in Somatic psychotherapy to support adults and adolescents from marginalized groups thrive since 2012. I have worked with folks from diverse communities including those with HIV/AIDs, refugees, low-income, and formerly homeless adults to identify their strengths and inner wisdom, so that they can take concrete steps towards feeling whole again. I empower my clients to find their own truths, so that they can live more fulfilling lives with more intimate relationships. I have advanced training in offer Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy for difficult to treat depression, and welcome the opportunity to talk more about whether this treatment could be beneficial. I also have specialized training in a modality called Internal Family Systems that has been revolutionary in helping people get to know their inner landscapes and create change.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

A core value that I bring to my work is my belief in social justice- which I define as acknowledging systems of oppression (white supremacy, transphobia etc.) and the impact that these systems have on communities, families, and individuals. A somatic approach is inherently about empowering individuals to feel themselves from the inside out, instead of seeing yourself as an object from an outsider's perspective. I also believe that individuals all have the innate capacity for healing inside them, that no amount of trauma can destroy. I can help guide you to reconnect with that inner voice of healing so that you can live an authentic life, and learn how to cope with and understand the parts of you that feel depressed or anxious.
