About My Clients
I specialize in helping women who are struggling with religious trauma, boundaries and people pleasing, and motherhood to stop feeling shame, guilt, and fear and learn to trust themselves, practice embodied living, and feel empowered and whole. While I specialize in religious trauma, I love to work with all kinds of trauma.
My Background and Approach
I graduated with my MEd from the University of Georgia in 2016, and I have been in private practice ever since. I completed my EMDR training, and I love incorporating this tool in my work. I generally approach therapy from a person-centered, IFS, ACT, and somatic approach. I am also a Certified Religious Trauma Specialist, and I am really passionate about my work with those impacted by religious trauma.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
When we meet, I hope you can instantly see how much I care. This is not just a job to me, it is my passion. Seeing clients heal and becoming empowered is a joy and honor. I want every single one of my clients to know they are not alone, and that I will be in their corner every step of the way. It is a huge priority to me that my clients have a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental environment in every session. I'm so proud of you for taking this step in fighting for yourself. It is no small thing.
