About My Clients
I work with people navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, high-pressure careers, or unresolved trauma. Our personal struggles can show up as burnout, depression, irritability, or strained relationships.
My Background and Approach
I have an MBA from the Univerisity of Iowa Tippie School of Business and a License in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I've been a CEO, a mom, a volunteer, a wife, an athlete, and an empty-nester. I bring these experiences and the foundations of narrative therapy, ACT values work, and DBT skills, to uncover your strengths, manage stress, calm the body, and improve communication. In therapy, you’ll find a confidential place to sort through the challenges you are facing, navigate transitions, and build resilience for both work and personal life. Together, we’ll focus on clarity, confidence, and skills that help you move forward with greater peace and purpose.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe counseling should be a safe, inclusive space where your story is honored and you feel supported in healing. My work has taken many forms — from mediating difficult situations including victim/offender settings, to guiding schools in trauma-informed practices and HR leaders in creating workplaces that value mental health. I’ve spoken nationally on the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and the strength that comes from resilience, and I bring that same perspective into my sessions with clients. I value authenticity, compassion, and equity, and I want to help you feel more grounded, hopeful, and confident as you face life’s challenges. Outside of counseling, I stay active in my community, enjoy time in nature, and find joy in bringing people together.
