About My Clients
Many people who work with me look capable on the outside but feel overwhelmed, anxious, or shut down on the inside. You may be trying to understand yourself more clearly, interrupt old patterns, or feel more connected to yourself and others. I work with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, burnout, depression, grief, major transitions, ADHD, and family estrangement.
My Background and Approach
I’m Elizabeth. I’ve helped people for over 33 years and am a licensed psychologist in Colorado. I’m also PSYPACT authorized, which allows me to work with adults online across participating states. Therapy with me is interactive, thoughtful, and grounded in advanced psychodynamic and behavioral training. We will pay attention to both your current patterns and the experiences that shaped them, so you can understand yourself more clearly and make choices that feel aligned with who you are. Along the way, we will identify small, meaningful shifts you can try between sessions to support the changes you want in your daily life. For in-person sessions, my Denver office is designed for privacy, with no shared spaces and scheduling that ensures you are the only client present. This allows you to arrive and leave quietly, without crossing paths with others. In addition to individual therapy, I offer specialized support for adult children and parents navigating estrangement.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My work is grounded in authenticity, respect, and trust in your capacity for growth and greater freedom. I aim to create a space where you feel heard, taken seriously, and able to explore your experiences without judgment. My practice is inclusive and affirming of diverse identities, backgrounds, and lived experiences. Outside of sessions, I rely on writing, reading fiction across genres, and time in nature to support my own reflection and presence in our work together.
