About My Clients
Many of my clients are young adults and professionals who appear to have things together but feel anxious, stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected beneath the surface. You may be navigating relationship patterns, career pressure, family dynamics, perfectionism, self-doubt, or a major life transition. I also work with clients who want to understand themselves more deeply—even when they can't point to one specific thing that's "wrong."
My Background and Approach
I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York with a master's degree in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from NYU. My approach is collaborative, relational, and active. I don't believe therapy should feel like talking into a void—I ask questions, offer perspective, notice patterns, and help you connect what's happening now to the experiences and beliefs that shaped you. I draw from CBT, REBT, ACT, Reality Therapy, and relational approaches, tailoring our work to you rather than following a one-size-fits-all formula. Together, we'll work toward greater clarity, self-trust, and more intentional choices in your relationships, career, and life. I work with adults in person in Manhattan and virtually throughout New York.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe good therapy makes room for the full context of who you are—including your relationships, family, culture, identity, values, and the communities that have shaped you. I'm particularly interested in the ways family expectations, achievement, relationships, and cultural identity can influence how we understand ourselves and what we believe we're "supposed" to do. Above all, I aim to create a space that feels warm, curious, direct, and free of judgment.
