My Background and Approach
My background in research and my training in maternal mental health allows me to help you build the tools that are proven to work to get you to a calmer state of mind. In addition, in working with me, you will experience a non-judgmental empathetic environment for you to learn and work through your own strengths. An additional focal point of my work with the Latinx communities allows me to bring an understanding of the cultural aspects that play an impactful role in our beliefs and we will use them as building blocks in your well-being.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am passionate about building a better future for ourselves and for our children. I believe that positive mental health is the key for that future. No one escapes hardship. We all experience it at one point or another. Somehow we are led to believe that strength is being able to mange it on our own. However, I believe in interdependence, meaning that strength is shown in the ability to ask for help from others when we need it. That future begins with you. That future begins with having the self-compassion to care for yourself and invest in your mental well-being. Give yourself that self-compassion and reach out to me today.
