About My Clients
Many of my clients have experienced trauma in their lives and are looking for a healthy path forward. Others are seeking tools to manage depression or anxiety. If you find yourself awake late at night with racing thoughts, avoiding situations you used to enjoy, or struggling to find meaning, there are tools that can help reduce those symptoms and put the past in it's place.
My Background and Approach
Therapy is a partnership. Whether you need tools to manage life's challenges, a safe place to work through past experiences, or a bit of both, we'll work together to make a plan focused on your needs and goals. We'll explore messages you've internalized that are no longer helping you, develop plans to reduce and cope with anxiety, stress, or depression, and address healthy communication and boundaries in relationships. I'll never be offended if you tell me a particular approach isn't working for you, and I'm always looking for more evidence-based tools that can help the people I work with.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe anyone can benefit from therapy at some point in their lives, and we all deserve access to the tools to make life better. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and have helped people navigate communication in all kind of relationships, including ethical nonmonogamy. I believe in racial justice and fully acknowledge the impact injustice and societal pressure can have on mental health.
