About My Clients
I work primarily with adults navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, anxiety, ADHD, depression, adjustment disorders, and work/life balance. I’m passionate about creating an inclusive, affirming space for all clients.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate with several years of hands-on experience in the mental health field. I’ve worked across a range of care setting including residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient programs. My background includes many years in eating disorder treatment as well as community mental health, where I supported clients of all ages. I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Denver and am licensed to practice in Washington State. My therapeutic style is strengths-based and client-centered. I integrate approaches from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, as well as other modalities. I tailor each session to meet the client’s unique needs and desired outcomes from therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that we all have the capability to build a life that is meaningful and fulfilling for ourselves despite the challenges that exist in our world. We all have things that we have to navigate and figure out, and I want to be a part of that. I live with ADHD and I know it can be difficult untangle symptoms/thoughts/feelings, and I want to help you find your footing with whatever you might be dealing with. Seeking mental health help is a big step and I am proud of all my clients who give therapy a try.
