My Background and Approach
I have 20 years of experience as a social worker. I have worked in a variety of settings with children, teens, and adults. Most recently, as an inpatient co-occurring therapist. I believe in working together to understand your challenges and find personalized solutions. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help you understand your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. CBT helps us explore the link between thoughts and emotions, while DBT offers tools for managing emotions and improving relationships.
