About My Clients
Maybe you look fine on the outside but feel anxious, exhausted, or far from yourself underneath. Maybe you’re carrying something that changed you, big or small, or longing for more ease in your relationships. Maybe life is shifting and you’re not sure where you fit anymore. The people I work with, individuals and couples, are doing their best with what they’ve been given and are ready for a new kind of support. Wherever you’re starting from, you’re welcome here.
My Background and Approach
Maybe you’ve talked through the same patterns for years and still feel stuck. Or you understand why you react the way you do, but your body hasn’t caught up. You don’t have to carry it alone. My approach is integrative. I hold dual master’s degrees in counseling from Columbia University and am a trauma-informed yoga teacher with 450+ hours of somatic training. I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches, and together we’ll find what fits you. That might include Internal Family Systems (parts work) or EMDR to explore where your patterns come from and gently process what feels unresolved. It might also include somatic practices like grounding and breathwork to help you feel more at home in your body. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in consulting and helped scale a fast-growing tech startup, so I know the pressure of high-stakes work and what it takes to change course. We’ll move at a pace that feels right for you, and you’ll always have a say in where we go.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy is a deeply human process and that we’re all doing our best with what we’ve been given. I also believe there’s room for humor, even when the work is heavy. Laughing together can be healing too. I’m proudly neurodiversity-affirming. I love working with autistic adults and with neurodiverse and neuro-mixed couples. Different brains experience the world, communicate, and connect in different ways, and none of them need fixing. Together we can build understanding, ease the friction that comes from being misunderstood, and create a relationship and a life that work for how you’re wired. I’m also passionate about supporting women healing from trauma. So many women have been taught to minimize their pain, keep the peace, and put everyone else first. I want therapy to be a space where your experience is believed, your boundaries are honored, and you get to come back to yourself at your own pace. Outside the therapy room, I love animals and I’m happiest on a sunny day.
