I'm a collaborative therapist who wants to work along side you in an active way. Are you exhausted and need some prompting? I am here for you; Are you feeling super chatty and want me to take a backseat? You got it; Do you just need to body double for the next 30 minutes to get a task done? Same babe!
My Background and Approach
I have been working in therapeutic spaces for the past 5 years. I completed my BA and MA at Antioch University with concentrations in Substance Abuse and Child Studies. If I happen to have any free time, you'll find me *cheffing* it up in my kitchen, or hanging with my cats in the sun (some grade A regulation techniques that match up with my lifestyle nicely). I am all about comfort, being cozy in your space, happy in your body and creating a routine that maintains as well as celebrates these values. I help folks understand their sensory system and create techniques to help with anxiety, depression, and somatic regulation. When you are out and about, beginning to feel the creeping in of discomfort, my hope is that you can open your tool kit, pull out one of your handy dandy regulation techniques, calm your system, and continue on. The world can be quite a lonely place; when you and I are in therapy together, I hope to make that part a little easier through genuine connection.
