Stress is prominent in times when we face life transitions and changes. Stress can cause many physical and emotional challenges and when not addresses on time can cause fatigue, lack of concentration, sleep deprivation and even illness. There are tools to be found and skills to be learned in order to replenish and move from, thought and away from difficult situations in life.

Self-esteem is an ever-lasting process. As long as we have a seeking spirit and learn to live our lives in a better and healthier way, we may wander in disbelieve in out potential and strength to achieve our dreams. Self-esteem can be harmed back in childhood, so embracing our life now, re-visiting and healing potentially traumatic events from the past, and which harmed your esteem is the way to re-establish a new connection to self in response to our enforcement. Mindfulness leads to esteem.

Finding the reason for our anxious, fearful and impatient nature requires lot of questions, creative exploration and honest answers...But through guided imagery, creative movement, writing and expressing feelings, our hidden emotions can be redirected and transformed. Anxiety can be our fuel for change!

Dance/movement therapy as the psychotherapeutic use of movement to further the emotional, cognitive, physical and social integration of the individual. Dance/movement therapy is: Focused on movement behavior as it emerges in the therapeutic relationship. Expressive, communicative, and adaptive behaviors are all considered for treatment. Body movement, as the core component of dance, simultaneously provides the means of assessment and the mode of intervention for dance/movement therapy.

Emotionally Focussed Therapy (EFT) emphasizes the importance of emotional engagement, secure attachment, and responsiveness in healthy relationships. It helps the development of these capacities and overcome negative, repetitive, and rigid patterns of interaction that prevent the client from having a closer and more caring relationship.

Culturally sensitive therapy emphasizes the client’s background, ethnicity, and belief system. I incorporate cultural sensitivity into my work to accommodate and respect differences in opinions, values, and attitudes of various cultures and different types of clients. I use my cultural sensitivity to gain and maintain daily my cultural competence and ability it to recognize and understand clients' own culture and how it influences their emotional life.
