About My Clients
I work with individuals & couples dealing with a variety of struggles, such as identity-based challenges, LGBTQA+, self-esteem, relationships, addictions, anxiety, parenting, life transitions & stresses of daily life. I also specialize in Dual Diagnosis, where both mental health and addiction are present.
My Background and Approach
My approach involves working together with clients to create a plan of action with practical solutions to resolve whatever challenges her clients may be facing. I begin treatment by creating an atmosphere where clients can communicate their feelings with certainty that they are being understood rather than judged. I am an effective communicator, motivator, and advocate with inherent ability to work with all types of personalities and to assist in developing and achieving challenging treatment goals and objectives. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as well as other therapeutic strategies to tailor treatment to a person’s individual needs. My main objective is to help clients learn more effective ways of coping and problem-solving that will lead to improved well-being and symptom reduction.
