About My Clients
You've done the hard thing. You made a decision to talk to someone and you're here. My Background and Approach
In my time as a therapist, I have addressed substance use, military experience, trauma, depression, and spirituality, with many clients, in outpatient and inpatient settings. I offer treatment for suicidal ideation or suicide-centered issues (ideation, attempt or grief). My therapeutic approach is based on what will be the most effective for each client. I often utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which is very effective in improving quality of life by adjusting the way we 'see' things. I might utilize Seeking Safety, DBT, or EMDR techniques for relapse prevention, trauma, or nervous system regulation.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My vision is for every man, woman, and child, to know and believe they have intrinsic value and worth. My mission is to ensure every person gets treated with honor, dignity, and respect. Therapy is a way to bring this vision to light as we are better to one another when we are better to ourselves.
