About My Clients
I provide comprehensive therapeutic support to individuals and couples spanning preteens to older adults. My practice addresses a diverse range of clinical and relational needs, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief. Additionally, I guide clients through complex life transitions, relationship conflict, and pre-marital counseling to foster resilience and healthy connections.
My Background and Approach
As a therapist, I believe that meaningful change begins with understanding the deeper layers of who we are. My work is grounded in a psychodynamic approach, which means I help clients explore how past experiences, early relationships, and unconscious patterns shape present-day thoughts, emotions, and relationships. I am a licensed clinical social worker and clinical supervisor. I received a master's degree in social work at New York University with an advanced certification in the Intensive Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Program at the William Alanson White Institute. I hold a license in New York and New Jersey. I have a certificates in the following trainings: Traumatic Grief: Cognitive, Behavioral and Somatic Approaches; Trauma Treatment Certificate, Gottman Couple's Therapy Level 1; and a candidate for EMDR training.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My practice is rooted in the belief that every individual and couple possesses the capacity for growth and healing when provided with a safe, non-judgmental space. I am deeply committed to fostering resilience, authenticity, and meaningful connection in therapy. Outside of my clinical work, I am passionate about continuous professional development, holistic wellness, and exploring creative ways to support mental well-being in our community.
