About My Clients
Seeking therapy is such kind, brave support to offer yourself, and the world is a hard place to be human, we all need sources of support. A great deal of my work has been with adolescents around substance use and addiction. As well as child, adolescent, and young adults facing transitions in life, school struggles, chronic illness, and trauma work. I love working with clients through modalities like creative therapy, somatic work, and attachment theory.
My Background and Approach
I received my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology, am licensed in the state of Washington as an LMHCA. I have spent the past few years focusing on narrative based trauma care, somatic integrations, body positive aligned therapy, and some creative therapy techniques. Before transitioning to private practice, I worked in a private high school as a counselor, with at risk youth facing addictions and learning difficulties. Before counseling work, my background has been in art, going to art school and then working as a graphic designer and freelance illustrator, as well as nannying throughout school for many precious families.
