CBT focuses on how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence one another, and how to regain a sense of control over your thoughts and behaviors to impact your mood positively.

I have nearly 20 years of experience working with children and adults who have experienced abuse (physical, sexual, emotional, psychological, etc). I truly enjoy working with this population and helping them decrease or eliminate trauma-related symptoms!

I have a true passion for working with individuals who have experienced sexual trauma (abuse, assault, trafficking, etc). I am encouraged on a regular basis by having the opportunity to come alongside my clients and assist them in healing, witnessing a significant decrease in the severity and frequency of any trauma-related symptoms.

I enjoy working with individuals with PTSD related to a variety of trauma experiences, including abuse, sexual assault, domestic violence, suicide of a loved one, and natural disasters, as well as first responders and veterans. I have all my clients with a trauma history complete a trauma-related assessment (PCL-5) after the first session, and then have them take it again sporadically throughout treatment, often seeing the severity and frequency of their PTSD symptoms decrease significantly!
