About My Clients
My clients often come to me to gain a better understanding of themselves and why they respond to the world in the way that they do. Often they feel like they have been going through the motions, being successful in their careers but feeling a deeper sense of dissatisfaction and longing. Many of my clients are also of Asian descent and are looking to work with someone who welcomes exploring how their racial identity has impacted their understanding of themselves.
My Background and Approach
I work from an integrative perspective, combining an insight-oriented approach with goal-focused interventions. I take into consideration your internal world as well as how this has interacted with the external systems we all live in. In doing so, the objective is to help you develop a stronger sense of self and bolster your abilities to adapt and thrive. I also strongly believe that the relationship between therapist and patient is key for one to be able to explore, reflect, and ultimately heal. As such, I prioritize in creating a safe, supportive space where we may work together to better understand your unique experiences.
