About My Clients
Feeling out of control and at the mercy of avoiding your triggers- or just avoiding most of life in general? Caught in ongoing patterns and spirals? Doing "that talk therapy thing" for years and seeing no results and kind of actually getting more triggered by talking about it or just by trying to go to the store? I gotchu. Clients seek me out for support, openness, vulnerability and because I focus on the client need and current issues.
My Background and Approach
I've always felt a little different and I love being able to give space and support to everyone who's got a little weird and a little wild going on in their lives. I have a Bachelor's as a Human Services Generalist and graduated from Western Washington University in 2015. I focused my studies on ethnic identity and philosophy (so much that I minored in it!). In 2018 I graduated from Eastern Washington University's hybrid program located in Vancouver Washington and have been rooted here ever since. I serve all clients in Washington and hope to eventually serve other states. I have worked in residential drug and alcohol programs, as a paraeducator for the public school system and with families that have children in foster care prior to becoming a therapist. I have been a practice therapist in community behavioral health since 2021 focusing on trauma-informed care and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.
