About My Clients
I specialize in working with clients who are struggling with trauma, boundaries, anxiety, relationship issues, & life transitions. Many of my clients identify as people-pleasers or express difficulty putting themselves first. Some feel they have lost themselves in their work or relations, or find themselves being their own worst critic. Together, we explore the past experiences, emotions, and thought patterns that may be getting in the way of living more authentically &aligned with their values.
My Background and Approach
I believe in the strength, resilience, and potential for growth in my fellow humans, and this is reflected in my therapeutic approach. I aim to be authentic, collaborative, and non-judgmental with clients. Together, we identify enjoyable and effective coping strategies, cultivate a nurturing inner dialogue to promote growth and self-trust, and establish kind and firm boundaries with others where needed. We look for patterns in relationships and process past experiences that may be impacting their present. I started the first several years of my career working with survivors of domestic and sexual violence, so my background is in trauma. Since then I have expanded my expertise to additional areas. I have also been trained in EMDR and Gottman Levels 1 and 2.
