About My Clients

Many of have been surviving and navigating systems not built for us. Are you hoping to heal from trauma, pain, and shame and/or are a part of LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, multicultural, and/or (dis)ability communities? You don’t need to shrink or explain here. We’ll create a space where you can put your burdens down and (re)connect with yourself and the world—with support that honors your full humanity.

My Background and Approach

I'm dedicated to honoring and celebrating all that makes you - you and being by your side in an affirming and encouraging way. In our work together, we’ll move at your pace. You’ll set the goals, and I’ll bring the tools. I draw from a range of modalities—including DBT, CBT, ACT, EMDR, IFS, Somatic Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, and Psychodynamic approaches—all grounded in a queer-affirming, anti-oppressive, and harm-reduction framework. If you’re exploring or integrating experiences with psychedelics, I also offer thoughtful, trauma-informed support.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a therapist and part of the trans, queer, ethnic minority, multicultural, immigrant, and (dis)ability communities, I believe your inner world is multifaceted and infinitely more complex than can be described. You deserve to be heard and treated with compassion, kindness, and respect. It's important for me to acknowledge that our inner worlds are impacted by our surroundings and systems. With that in mind, activism and advocacy have been important parts of my work both within and outside the therapeutic settings. As part of the ongoing commitment to human rights, I've volunteered with the International Rescue Committee (IRC) and American Civil Liberty Union (ACLU), Chung for College Board 2022 campaign to elect the first nonbinary trustee for City College in San Francisco, and UCSF No One Dies Alone program.
