About My Clients
I specialize in helping couples improve their communication & conflict resolution skills, & also work with individuals dealing with stress, anxiety, & life transitions. My clients are motivated to work towards their goals & open to exploring new perspectives. I offer a supportive environment where my clients can process their emotions & work towards achieving their goals. I believe in empowering my clients to develop their strengths & resilience to improve their mental health & overall wellbeing
My Background and Approach
In therapy, I take an integrative approach, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy (ESFT). During sessions, I am an active participant, providing guidance, feedback, and interventions to help clients achieve their goals. My aim is to empower clients with the skills and insights they need to navigate life's challenges and thrive. I believe in creating a collaborative, non-judgmental space where clients can feel supported and heard as they work towards positive change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a biracial, and bilingual (Spanish/English) therapist, I value diversity and strive to provide culturally sensitive care. I offer telehealth services only, and new clients can schedule a free consultation via my website. While I do not accept insurance, I accept EAP Lyra Health and offer sliding scale fees and can provide a superbill for clients.
