In my sessions, I guide clients through the process of creating art that reflects their internal experiences. This process not only fosters self-awareness but also allows clients to externalize and process difficult emotions in a safe and supportive environment. Art therapy is particularly effective for clients dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, or those who are simply seeking a new way to explore their thoughts and feelings.

Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a foundation, I work with clients to identify the thoughts and beliefs that trigger their anger. We explore how these thoughts influence their emotions and behaviors, and together, we develop techniques to challenge and change these patterns. This might include learning relaxation techniques, improving communication skills, or practicing mindfulness to stay present and calm in challenging situations.

ART works by guiding clients through a series of specific eye movements while they visualize their distressing memories or experiences. This process helps to reframe negative images and emotions, replacing them with more positive or neutral ones.
