About My Clients
I mostly support individuals dealing with acute or chronic depressive and/or anxious thinking, feeling, and behaving. Through a combination of mindful education via psychological research, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy I help clients break unwanted patterns that prevent the sustainable peace and happiness they desire.
My Background and Approach
I am a mindfulness-based holistic therapist who helps children, teens, and adults. My unique integrative approach pulls from multiple research-proven techniques designed to help you create a more reality based relationship with your mind, feelings, and the self. My passion is helping create sustainable change that can lead to a fulfilling and beautiful life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Judgment is how we get lost. I take pride in creating a safe space to grow and evolve in by being very real with my clients. I would never ask a client to try something I have not already done and felt the positive benefits in my own life. I cannot expect people to be vulnerable with themselves if I cannot be vulnerable with myself. I laugh and sometimes cry with my clients. Empathy connects us all. I am passionate about fighting corruption and working on local elections to help humanitarian candidates make it through the primaries. It is an arduous process but I will never stop fighting for a world that takes Civil Rights seriously and values human life over profit.
