About My Clients

I work best with individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, relationship issues, life transitions, or cultural identity concerns. I especially enjoy supporting BIPOC clients, women, and young adults who are seeking clarity, healing, and self-empowerment. My goal is to create a safe, affirming space where clients feel seen and supported as they work through challenges and move toward meaningful change.

My Background and Approach

As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, I bring a compassionate, collaborative approach to helping clients navigate life’s challenges. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with a focus on Marriage and Family Therapy and have experience working with individuals, couples, and families from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. My areas of focus include anxiety, relationship issues, identity exploration, life transitions, and self-esteem. I’m passionate about supporting BIPOC and marginalized communities, and I tailor my work using evidence-based practices like CBT, narrative therapy, and trauma-informed care. Whether you're feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you or looking to strengthen your relationships, I provide a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can gain insight, build confidence, and move forward with clarity and purpose. Your story matters, and I’m here to help you reclaim it.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a Black woman and therapist, I’m deeply committed to creating inclusive, affirming spaces where people of all identities feel seen, heard, and valued. I believe healing happens when we are met with empathy, authenticity, and cultural understanding. I am an ally to the LGBTQIA+ community. My practice is grounded in social justice, empowerment, and mental health equity. I’m especially passionate about supporting BIPOC clients and those navigating intergenerational trauma, identity, or systemic oppression. Outside of therapy, I stay engaged in community outreach and mental health advocacy work. I believe in showing up as my full self so that clients feel safe to do the same. My goal is to walk alongside you with compassion, helping you reconnect with your voice, resilience, and power.
