I believe therapy can be used to meet individuals where they are and help bring them to where they would like to be. I have been able to journey with individuals in many different stages of life. I am confident in helping individuals develop efficient communication skills, appropriate social skills, harmonious relationships, and an increased self-esteem.

Using my holistic approach helps to heal the whole person-not just the symptoms. The presenting needs of the individual adapt the style and pace of therapy. I promote informed choice when it comes to treatment and collaborate with you in order to ensure all needs are being addressed. You will learn, practice and be challenged to apply skills in your life to feel confident in meeting your goals. VGC currently works with clients who experience difficulties with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and significant life changes. Elena Engle, owner of VGC, is trained in many techniques and methods such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Parent Management Training (PMTO).
