About My Clients

I view therapy as a pathway to liberation and connection with our bodies, our spirits, our sexuality, the earth, and the people around us. I love working with clients who resist sexual repression by embracing expansive sexual identities. I welcome people practicing ethical non-monogamy, sex workers, kinksters, and members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community. Together we can challenge the oppressive forces and subconscious patterns that prevent you from feeling fully alive.

My Background and Approach

My work is heavily influenced by Latinx, indigenous, queer and polyamorous theorists. I like to integrate wisdom from mujerista and feminist psychologies, liberation psychology, depth psychology, and narrative therapy into my work with adults and teens. In my work with couples and other partner configurations, I draw heavily from Jessica Fern's Nested Model of Attachment and Trauma featured in Polysecure, as well as from narrative and Jungian approaches. I believe therapy falls short when we only focus on our individual struggles. When we realize we are not solely responsible for our shortcomings, but rather it is our oppressed position in society that largely causes dis-ease, we begin to heal. From this space of increased awareness, we can take back our personal and collective power. I am trained in EMDR, sexology, and the foundations of somatic sex education. I am currently studying Andean Medicine and Herbalism.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I'm a Peruvian-American, bicultural and biracial woman of Quechua-Aymara and European descent. I recognize my privilege as a white-presenting cisgender woman, and I advocate for decolonization, anti-imperialism, landback, prison abolition, and racial equity. I currently reside on Tongva land. I identify as queer, pansexual, polyamorous, kinky, and neurodivergent. I live and thrive alongside a few chronic illnesses, which have been powerful lifelong teachers. Finally, I firmly believe sex work is work, and have spent time working with various sex worker led organizations.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
