About My Clients
I work primarily with anxiety related challenges, including relationship issues, communication and assertiveness skills, as well as navigating life-transitions. I work best with clients who are looking to connect their behaviors and actions to the beliefs and narratives they hold about themselves and the world around them. We'll then work together to use this acceptance and compassionate understanding for where you're coming from to challenge and motivate you to find more helpful approaches.
My Background and Approach
I primarily use mindfulness, REBT/CBT, and solution-focused techniques within a person-centered, strengths-based approach. I hold dual Master's degrees in Mental Health Counseling and Psychological Counseling from Columbia University, and received specialized training in trauma work and have advanced certificates from in Rational-Emotive Behavioral Therapy (Albert Ellis Institute) and Choice Theory (William Glasser International).
