About My Clients
I support people who have been carrying a lot - responsibilities, care for others, and pressure to get it right. I work with caregivers, helpers, creatives, and driven professionals. Some are caring for loved ones with serious mental or physical illness. Others are highly sensitive, perfectionistic, or accustomed to being “the strong one.” They have a tendency to carry a great deal internally, often at the expense of their own needs.
My Background and Approach
If your life is feeling stuck, overwhelming, or out of alignment, I can help you to connect with your values, recalibrate, and live in a way that feels true to you. Even in the midst of stress, grief, and pressure, it’s possible to stay connected to our shared humanity, find space for curiosity, peace and joy, and balance care for others with care for our whole selves. I have extensive training and expertise in evidence-based practices for a wide variety of mental health challenges. I integrate CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based treatments, with an emphasis on self-compassion. My clinical foundation is in the recovery model, and I bring a strengths-based, person-centered, trauma-informed, relational, and holistic approach to my work. Individual therapy is a safe, nonjudgmental, and supportive space for you to identify your goals and values, understand and heal from the effects of past experiences, cultivate self-trust, and learn skills to build a fulfilling and authentic life.
