About My Clients

Some experiences cannot be put into words and yet their impact lasts a lifetime. Tendrils of that impact are apparent in most aspects of our lives. I specialize in working with such experiences, whether you call it traumatic, something else, or nothing at all. I have experience in crisis management, interpersonal relationship building, and coping skills support. So, if you are struggling with your identity, with processing past or on-going trauma, or rebuilding relationships, I want to support.

My Background and Approach

I use EMDR to help integrate the physical and emotional parts of trauma; CBT to help gain awareness of self-talk when discussing relationship and identity concerns; Harm Reduction Psychotherapy for substance use to understand the meanings drugs hold in our lives, and a person-first approach. My culture does influence my perspective and responses in life so I hold people's cultural identity as central to their therapy.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am a flexible person who is curious about others. So, if you are looking to talk through something, I am willing to listen. We often make the best decisions we can for ourselves and our loved ones based on the resources and circumstances of the moment. I believe that, so I see no reason to judge.
