About My Clients

Life is hard, but finding therapy that works for you shouldn’t be. That’s where I come in. My clients are often ready to learn more about themselves—sometimes they want to be challenged, other times they just need a listening ear. Wherever you’re at, I’ll meet you in the mess and help you sort through it in a way that feels supportive and real. I know you’re tired of searching through countless profiles- let’s get started with a quick complimentary phone call.

My Background and Approach

I’m a down-to-earth therapist who believes therapy should feel approachable and useful. My background includes psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). With psychodynamic work, we slow down and look at how past experiences—especially early relationships—still show up in your life today. CBT helps connect the dots between thoughts, feelings, and actions, and gives you practical tools to shift unhelpful patterns. ACT adds another layer, teaching you how to accept what’s outside your control, stay present, and make choices that align with your values. Together, these approaches let us work on what’s happening right now while also understanding the deeper “why.” My goal is to keep therapy collaborative, flexible, and real—so it fits who you are and what you need.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe everyone is capable of change with the proper support, and that peace of mind shouldn’t be a luxury—it’s something we all deserve. I remind my clients that our needs are important too, even when life makes it easy to put ourselves last. My work is shaped by the belief that healing and growth happen when we feel seen, supported, and understood. Outside of therapy, I have a passion for fostering kittens and advocating for our most vulnerable communities. Both remind me of the importance of compassion, patience, and second chances—values I also bring into my work as a therapist.
