My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience providing individual and couples counseling, coaching, and mental wellness consulting. My therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused treatment. I draw from these models to help clients manage distress, improve emotional regulation, and build healthier relationships. I believe in creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to grow. I work collaboratively with clients, tailoring treatment to their unique needs and goals. My background also includes working with diverse populations across various life stages and cultural contexts, which allows me to integrate cultural sensitivity and inclusivity into my practice. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that every person has the capacity for growth, healing, and resilience when provided with the right support and tools. Life challenges, past experiences, and current stressors can feel overwhelming, but they do not define one’s future. I hold the belief that therapy should be a collaborative process where clients are empowered to explore their strengths, confront barriers, and build healthier patterns. I also believe in meeting people where they are, with compassion, cultural sensitivity, and without judgment. My work is guided by the understanding that healing is not linear, and progress looks different for everyone. At the core, I trust that change is possible, and with support, clients can create meaningful and lasting improvements in their mental health and overall well-being.
