I work with men who are successful in their careers but feel stuck in patterns they can’t control, including pornography use, compulsive sexual behavior, infidelity, and emotional disconnection. Many feel divided between who they are and how they’re living. They come to therapy ready to understand these patterns, regain control, and build more honest, connected relationships.
My Background and Approach
I have over 20 years of experience working in mental health, with a focus on helping men navigate addiction, relationships, and emotional challenges. My first experience with sex addiction therapy was running a group for men dealing with substance use and co-occurring sexual addiction, which shaped my understanding of how these patterns develop and persist. I specialize in working with pornography use, compulsive sexual behavior, and infidelity. My approach is direct and practical, helping clients understand the patterns driving their behavior, identify triggers, and build the ability to respond differently. This work helps men regain control, improve communication, and rebuild trust and integrity in their lives and relationships.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I focus on working with men and the unique challenges they face around identity, relationships, and emotional expression. Many men are taught to suppress emotion, rely on performance, or handle things on their own, which can lead to isolation, stress, and patterns like avoidance or acting out. I help men develop a more grounded, honest, and emotionally aware way of living without losing their sense of strength or direction. I also recognize that some cultural expectations around masculinity can work against men, especially when it comes to vulnerability, connection, and asking for help. My work creates space for men to understand themselves more clearly and show up more fully in their lives and relationships. All clients are welcome.
