About My Clients
I work collaboratively with clients to explore identity, relationships, and life transitions while building skills to ease anxiety, depression, and stress. I’m passionate about guiding people in self-discovery and empowerment, helping them find clarity, confidence, and connection in their lives.
My Background and Approach
I’m a first-generation gay Hispanic of color who understands many of the nuances that accompany identity. I'm an empathetic psychotherapist who offers an affirming, collaborative space for healing and growth. I work with adults from all walks of life, with a focus on BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and marginalized communities. My integrative style blends psychodynamic, CBT, and person-centered approaches to deepen insight, strengthen coping, and foster self-compassion—helping clients move toward lives rooted in authenticity and balance. I am intentional about attuning to everyone—honoring the nuances of culture, identity, and lived experiences as tools for those I serve. This work will encourage clients in their resiliency, their aptitude in processing complex trauma histories and developing positive self-talk/change. In all sessions, I collaborate with each client to work towards positive change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that meaningful therapy begins with safety, trust, and authenticity. I take time to understand each client’s world before exploring deeper layers of emotion and experience. My integrative approach draws from person-centered and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), supported by mindfulness and values-based work. I aim to create a compassionate and culturally responsive environment where you can slow down, reflect, and reconnect with your strengths. Together, we’ll explore patterns that no longer serve you and build tools that support clarity, confidence, and emotional balance. Clients often describe my style as collaborative, grounded, and gently challenging.
