About My Clients
My ideal client is someone who's tired of feeling stuck in the same patterns, especially in relationships. I work well with young adults, men exploring their emotional world, and anyone navigating blended family dynamics, anxiety, or the weight of growing up in a home where feelings weren't really talked about. If that sounds like you, you're in the right place.
My Background and Approach
I have my Master of Arts in Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy from the University of Central Florida and am a registered Marriage and Family Therapy Intern in Florida. I also hold a certification in Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), which means I'm trained to help you understand how your attachment patterns shape the way you relate to yourself and others. My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in attachment theory. I draw from CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, and EFT to tailor each session to what actually fits you. Whether you're untangling relationship patterns, navigating family dynamics, or just trying to feel more like yourself, my goal is to help you get there in a way that feels real, not forced.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be accessible to everyone, including people who grew up in homes where asking for help wasn't really an option. In a lot of first-generation and multicultural families, struggles get pushed down, feelings go unspoken, and therapy is seen as something for other people. I want to change that narrative, one session at a time. I also believe healing doesn't have to feel heavy every single minute. Humor, realness, and genuine human connection are just as much a part of the process as the hard stuff. I've navigated my own share of family complexity — divorce, blended family dynamics, being the person everyone leaned on; that shapes how I show up for my clients every day. You don't have to have it all figured out to start. You just have to be willing to show up.
