About My Clients
I believe in helping you if you have experienced something that affects your ability to go on like you used to. If you are depressed or feeling overwhelmed right now please give us a call I am here to help you. You may have been dealing with depression your relationship issues or whatever you may be dealing with for awhile, but you feel that you can only manage like you have for so long.
My Background and Approach
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Florida International University and a Master's of Science from Nova Southeastern University. I have over 13 years of experience working with children, adults and their families as case manager and as a therapist in the South Florida community. I specialize in helping people who are experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship issues, marital problems, life issues, work related stress, anger issues and childhood sexual abuse survivors. I also provide group counseling in the following areas: substance use, parenting skills, domestic violence and marital counseling.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I provide positive, empowering and inspirational articles, talks, lectures and workshops in the community. Topics are often focused on helping others improve themselves through use of psycho-education, self care, childhood sexual abuse prevention/treatment, cognitive approaches, and the need for mental health awareness.
